Nature is all around, the Little House is within a green private garden and it is located three minute walk from the lake. The Little Garden House is in the Cernobbio village. Just outside the main gate you can find many restaurants, a great patisserie, an anarchist coffee shop and wine bars, with a 5 minute walk you arrive at the lakeshore and at the boat dock.
From Cernobbio you can explore Lake Como by boat, be it the public "battello" or the private taxi boats. You are only a 10 minute boat ride (or bus ride) to Como. Every Wednesday morning you can stroll through the market stalls by the lakeshore, do not miss the "fritto misto" time.
The cottage is nearby the Villa d'Este, a Renaissance patrician residence. In 1815, it became the residence of Caroline of Brunswick, estranged wife of the future King George IV (United Kingdom), she had been encouraged to live abroad. She gave it the name New Villa d'Este and had the park landscaped in English style, since 1873 this villa and its park have become a luxury hotel.
A lovely garden
Furnished patio, sunchairs, kids toys and a barbecue. The garden is available for guests to enjoy and it is ideal to relax after a day of explorations or of work and it is the perfect spot for breakfast outdoors or a glass of wine at sunset.

A cosy home for a relaxing stay on Lake Como. The Little Garden House is a family owned and run independent accomodation in Cernobbio. It is ideal for a couple, a single traveller or a small family. The Little House is located in a very convenient position to explore Lake Como.

Furniture of the cottage include the marble table where I used to bake apple tart with my grandmother and a vintage lamp that my grandfather, the village doctor, had in his office, but there are also ceramic cups from my ceramist friend from Rimini and books from my University years in the UK. There is a lamp from Morocco and the headrest of the double bed is from the beds me and my sister had when young (it has been pimped up with white paint though)
